Department of Tourism Management

The Department of Tourism Management (www.tour.teithe.gr), is one of the ATEI's 21 departments and it belongs to the School of Administration and Economics.

The Department's main aim is to provide its students with the tools that will render them capable of entering the world of the Tourism Industry (hotels, travel agencies, campings, means of transport, information centers as well as tourism organization services).

Duration of studies:

Students follow a theoretical and laboratory training in their first 3,5 years (7 semesters) of studies while in their final semester they must implement a six month internship which takes place in several tourist units, both in Greece and abroad. Instruction at the Department of Tourism Management involves training in Management and Marketing functions of Tourism Businesses, training in foreign languages (English, German, French, Italian and Russian) as well as training in "Tourism Business" related activities.
